About Me

LaJeanna Haughton, LMSW- Psychotherapist

Hi  I'm LaJeanna. I'm a graduate of Adelphi University School of Social Work and  I have spent the past 13 years creating and facilitating programs geared towards the health and well being of women in all stages of their life. I have a focused interest in sexuality and can provide a unique perspective into the cultural hardships of Black women that play to self-expression, gender and identity issues and sexual dysfunction. I am proud to be a Woman of Color and can provide insight into experiences that often go unnoticed and undervalued. It is a privilege to assist those who want help in being the best version of themselves.

"I need to see my own beauty and to continue to be reminded that I am enough, that I am worthy of love without effort, that I am beautiful, that the texture of my hair and that the shape of my curves, the size of my lips, the color of my skin, and the feelings that I have are all worthy and okay."

- Tracee Ellis Ross

"Even if it makes others uncomfortable, I will love who I am.
