Hi, my name is Cassia Lohar. I’m a native New Yorker, but I lived in the Caribbean for 9 years. As a child, my friends and family would talk to me about their problems, and found that the advice I gave them worked.
At the age of 12, I discovered psychotherapy was a career path. After graduating from high school, I went to college and graduate school where I obtained a Bachelors Degree in Social Work and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work.
Throughout my career, I’ve strived to make therapy a safe space for people to explore the difficult parts of life that we all face at some point. I’m a non-judgmental therapist with a sense of humor who values the therapeutic relationship.
In addition to being a therapist, I love spending time with my church family, listening to worship music, cooking/baking, and playing The Sims. I look forward to meeting you.
